Carpe Diem every second of the day is how Rodney Wash spends most of his day. A lot of people might have known him as “Cognac” from his talk show “Lipstick and Cognac” on “Rollingout Magazine”, but now he goes by Rodney.
Rodney is the host of “Over a Cup of Coffee with Rodney Wash” on “AIB Network”. Raised by his dad and mom. Rodney grew up in Gulfport, Mississippi under the roof with 5 other siblings, in controlled chaos as he would explain it. Rodney, attended USM and studied Bio- Chemistry… Quite the switch up!
It wasn’t until September 23, 2012 when Rodney experienced a near death car wreck. This would forever change his life, being able to walk away from such a tragedy he was reminded that growing up he wanted to make people laugh, that his pastor told “him he would speak to crowds of millions,” and just the fact that he has always wanted to own his own talk show to shed light on things in the media and life experiences… This is the passion that keeps the flame going for Rodney Wash!
Nothing is like your first time, and Rodney’s first time behind a camera was a “dream come true” … it was a feeling he had never experienced. Nervous
and afraid that people wouldn’t take to his content, his platform, and him was
very short lived once he realized that people enjoyed what he had to offer.

Livas marries her tremendous life experiences with her spiritual compass to guide others through managing life on and off the clock. Her direct nature draws audiences, but her keen story-telling captures their attention and provokes them to take action. She’s so much more than a speaker or a multi-media host…she’s a connector…helping everyone draw closer to their dreams.
Angel N. Livas is a best-selling author, the 2020 Gold winner for “The Enlightenment” documentary, and 2019 Communicator award recipient for her radio program, “The Woman Behind The Business Talk Show.”
As the CEO of DC Media Connection, Angel utilizes her keen sense of video production and content creation to attract her clients to their ideal consumers. Recently, Angel was named “Woman to Watch 2020 for Business Excellence” by the Creative Life Institute. In 2016, Angel was highlighted in the Washington Business Journal under “People On The Move.”
Before embarking upon her entrepreneurial journey, Angel oversaw six-nationally syndicated talk-radio shows, which included producing programming for award-winning celebrity hosts Larry King and Jane Pauley.
Angel is a proud lady of Alpha Kappa Alpha Sorority, Incorporated, and a graduate of Howard University, where she graduated magna cum laude. She received her master of arts from the American University and she is also the recipient of two professional certifications from Stanford University and Rutgers University. She currently resides in Northern Virginia with her two children.
